If you’re part of a B2C Company, you might relate to it this other way:
Value = Traction without Loss
In the mobile app world, the average use of an app is less than 1 minute.  Only 1% of apps created have a positive return.  Google’s Play store has 3.8m apps.  Given these facts, what are the values of:  C(v) =  1 - C(f) - C(c)
C(v) =  .01    and    C(f) + C(c) = .99 !!!
