Not all constraints are equal: some constraints are addressable, others are difficult to address; some are internal to the Company, others are external. There are two Treatment Types for Constraints:
Constraints that are stubborn or costly –must be optimized around
Constraints that you can address in a practical, reasonable fashion – can alleviate!
Constraints are Internal or External to the Company. In software management, the goal is to get change adopted. Constraints within each stage can be evidenced as Change that Backs-up later in the pipeline!
