Ramifications of the Shared-Need on Creative Staff, Leaders, and Customers Truth #4 – Drilling into Shared Need Motivation. Creative Attractors work best when they meet the Needs of all actors involved. So let’s consider the needs of the actors in chronological order, starting with mature leaders.
Leaders – Ideally, as leaders, we’ve reached the give-back / mentor phase of our careers. If so, having opportunities to invest in others, particularly in the areas we know best, can be extremely rewarding for all involved! Leader’s have a need to invest and tell the story of future-promise to others coming-up in the community.
Creative Team – We have a need to bring something to life using our skills and talents that could change an industry, a community, or even just our team. Our work actualizes who we are as members of the creative class which is very fulfilling!
Customers – to have a need met, a gap in our job, career or life filled, is awesome, particularly fulfilling if it furthers our achievements, endeavors, career or family.
In The Theory of Engagement we will study further the psychology of human needs.
